First timer over here..

Well, hello there!
I'm completely new to this whole blogging thing, if you can't tell.  I decided to start this because a lot of girls were talking about it on a USAFA Girlfriends Facebook group that I'm a part of (more on that later) and because I enjoy talking and my friends don't always want to listen to my exciting and in depth stories of how my day went.  I also used to write quite a bit but stopped because... well, I don't actually know, but I didn't want to lose my voice in writing.  Keep in mind that I can't handle life so it'll take me a while to become a decent blogger.  It'll get better!  Also prepare for lengthy descriptions, sass, awkward moments, love, and a lot of laughing.

If you don't know me, there's a few important details you should be aware of.  I major in Hotel, Restaurant, and Tourism Management at New Mexico State University in Las Cruces, New Mexico, and am a proud member of the Pi Delta chapter of Chi Omega Fraternity (AKA the biggest women's organization in the United States).  My hometown, Albuquerque, is a short three hour drive away, as are my two older sisters and brother-in-law (Tony, Rosa, and Carlos), my mom and stepdad, my dad, my best friend (Briana), and my doggies.  Another best friend. Maggie, is quite a bit further than three hours away and lives in Des Moines, IA.  My boyfriend (Taylor) of over two years attends the USAF Academy in Colorado, an eight hour drive from Las Cruces and a five hour drive from Albuquerque.  My current short and long term goals include moving out of New Mexico ASAP and living near a beach, preferably in the South, becoming a wedding planner, traveling the world, getting fit, graduating college in May 2015, growing my hair past my waist, and being happy.  I may be slightly obsessed with pink, glitter, being blonde, damask, organizing, and Pinterest.  Awkward moments occur quite often because of me.  I'm definitely a big dog person.  The only dogs that should be small are puppies.  I enjoy baking, cooking, cleaning, taking care of people, and organizing, but my aspirations include more than being the perfect housewife (because let's be honest, I've already got that covered).  I could go on, but it's 2:30 in the morning and I'm sure I have something to do tomorrow.

Thanks for reading!  Have a fantastic day.
